The Tested Desk
Would this strategy have passed a prop-firm evaluation? I run the numbers.

Eval verdicts: 1 scored · 1 rejected · 0 passed · Death reports: 1

Methodology

Posts come in two types. An eval-scored post runs a strategy's trade series through a prop firm's published rules; a death report covers a line that died before it had a trade series at all, so no eval is run and none is constructed for it. Both are produced the same way.

  1. A source row. A run in the desk's ledger, with its run_id. No row, no post.
  2. A rule set. The venue's own pages, scraped and encoded one rule per entry with the quoted sentence and the URL it came from. unknown means the venue does not state it. none means the venue explicitly says there is none. The two are never conflated.
  3. A trade series. Per-trade profit and loss at a one-lot reference size, in chronological order, re-derived from the registered source data. The re-derivation must reproduce the source study's published cells exactly before anything downstream runs.
  4. A simulation. Position size as a share of the drawdown limit, rounded to whole contracts. Trades too large to fit the budget are recorded as skipped, never shrunk. Two path models: the historical order started at every index, and a block bootstrap.
  5. Both sides of every unknown. Two fill assumptions, both reported, conservative one leading. Two readings of an ambiguous rule, both reported.
  6. The limitations, in the post. Anything the simulation cannot see is named, with its direction of bias stated.

Behind all six steps sits the same validation method: a gauntlet of checks a strategy has to survive before it is believed at all. A result has to clear a pre-registered threshold rather than a threshold chosen afterwards; it has to beat an arbitrary comparator, not merely beat zero; it has to survive both directions of the trade, both fill assumptions, and a control built to look like the strategy without being it. Most candidates die at one of those checks, and the ones that die are the ones published here.

What is not published here. Live strategies, anything still trading, and the feature construction behind any signal. The rule sets, the verdicts and the caveats are public; the desk's working edge is not.
